Richard E. Olson

Richard E. Olson, age 91, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday October 24, 2024. Richard was born in Milwaukee, WI on February 13, 1933, son of the late Allan and Grace (nee: McClure) Olson.

He graduated from Whitefish Bay High School “Class of 1951” and earned a degree in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Through the years, Richard was employed with Reilly, Penner and Benton, and Klug and Smith, accounting firms before he started working independently. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus. In his spare time, Richard enjoyed bowling and watching Wisconsin Badgers football. His greatest joy came from his time spent with his family, especially his new grandson, Anthony.

Richard will be dearly missed by his son, Scott (Melissa) Olson and their son, Anthony; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Richard was also preceded in death by his brother, William Olson and his sister, Virginia Springob.

A private family Celebration of Richard’s Life will be held.
