Surrounded by his loving family, Richard (Rick) F. Koshen, age 61, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024 at All Saint Ascension. Rick was born on December 20, 1962, son of the late Lottie K. Johnson (Nee: Brunnelson).

On March 27, He was united in marriage to Rosemary Larsen. Rick was a lover of life and lit up every room he went into. He was a diehard Green Bay Packers fan but was an even bigger fan of his five daughters. He would tell anyone who would listen how proud he was of each of them. His pastimes included spending time with his family, watching football and cops, going on drives and making people laugh. Rick not only was a god fearing Christian he was also a fierce brother, uncle, grandpa and friend. Rick spent the last 6 years living independently at McMynn towers. He made many friends and collected many nicknames along the way: Rambo, fruit fly, and lieutenant to name a few.

He will be dearly missed. Survivors include his loving wife Rosemary Koshen; children, Nicole M. (Cameron) Mandli, Sara L Koshen (Mark Cress), Melissa M. (Jake) Sargent, April (Trevor) Greer and Rebecca Koshen; stepchildren, Marsha Fine and Will Jones; grandchildren, Emmalee and Eleanor Mandli, Autumn and Jaxson Cress, Brooklyn and Levi Greer; sister, Vicki Johnson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Amy Johnson.

The family would also like to extend their most sincere gratitude to the residents and building management for all the love and support throughout the years, staff at Ascension, Mr. Brian Polk with TMG, and his IRIS care team for all their compassion and understanding.

A private celebrate of life will be held at a later time.
