Robert "Bob" L. Knop

Robert Larry Knop, “Bob”, age 76, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Froedtert Medical Center, Milwaukee. He was born in Racine, June 18, 1949, son of the late Donald and Violet (Nee: Sleeman) Knop. Bob attended Washington Park High School. On February 22, 1969, he was united to Dianne M. Sems and they were blessed with 2 daughters Bobbie and Nichole.

Bob retired from Bucyrus Erie Co. in South Milwaukee after over 45 years of employment. He was an avid fisherman and hunter who enjoyed the outdoors at his cottage up north. He was also passionate about working on and restoring muscle cars most recently his prized 68 Pontiac. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and his enjoyment of a good party with family and friends. Above all he treasured time spent with his family and dog Sadie. He will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his wife of 56 years, Dianne; daughters, Bobbie (Vern) Olsen, Nichole “Nikki” Ramseier; grandchildren, Emma Ramseier, Isabelle Ramseier, Jordan Olsen, and Zachary Olsen; sister, Donna (Tom) Mears; other relatives and dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Swartout.

A memorial service will be held at the funeral home Friday, September 12, 2025, 11 am with Reverend Laura Fladten officiating. Relatives and friends may meet prior to the service 10 -11 am
