Robert E. Waters

Robert E. “Rob” Waters age 73 of Racine died Thursday December 11, 2025 at the Hospice Alliance House in Pleasant Prairie. Robert was born in Detroit, MI on June 18, 1952, son of the late Roland and June (nee: Schmitt) Waters.

Rob graduated from Maine South High School in Park Ridge, IL “Class of 1970”. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business from Carthage College in Kenosha, where he met the love of his life, Adrienne Nelson. On July 3, 1976 at Grace Lutheran Church, Rob was united in marriage to Adrienne and shared nearly fifty wonderful years together. Rob was employed as a financial planner working with investments and insurance while living in Prospect Heights, Il. Following retirement, Rob and Adrienne relocated to Racine, WI. An excellent organist and pianist, Rob enjoyed creating music and playing to the delight of many. He especially loved spending time with Adrienne at their cabin up north, boating on various lakes and traveling.

Rob will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Adrienne Waters of Racine; sister, Priscilla (Gary) Nei; brother, Mark Waters; sister-in-law, Laura (Dean) Larson; nieces and nephews, Julie (Lance) Carlson, Kristen Toberman, Katie Waters, and Andrew Waters; great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday February 28, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Rob’s Life service to start at 11:00 a.m. Memorials to Hospice Alliance 10220 Prairie Ridge Blvd, Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158 have been suggested.
