Life Story / Obituary
Robert E. Albertson, age 76, Passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Aurora Medical Center, Kenosha. He was born in Superior, WI, October 22, 1947, son of the late Edward and Helen (Nee: Jensen) Albertson.
Bob was a graduate of Northwestern High School in Maple, WI. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1968- 1974. On October 28, 1978, Bob was united in marriage to Beverly Schiestle. He was employed by Chrysler Corp. for many years until his retirement. A car enthusiast, Bob enjoyed attending car shows but was most proud when showcasing his Rebel Machine. He was always up to a challenge with his daily crossword puzzle and was gifted with his woodworking skills. Bob was a longtime member of the Northside Happy Hour group and was an avid Minnesota Vikings and Cincinnati Reds fan. Above all it was time spent with his family that he cherished most.
Surviving is his wife, Beverly of 45 years, sons, David Albertson, Keith Albertson and Robert Albertson; grandchildren, Katelyn Albertson, Jordan Albertson (fiancé, Milvia Valerio), Jaydan, Kamdan, Brandan and Lucas Albertson; sisters-in-law, Eileen Stropes and Marti Schiestle; nieces, nephews other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Heather Albertson, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Larry (Bernice) Schiestle, Daniel Schiestle, Shirley (Peter) Villalpando.
Funeral services celebrating Bob’s life will be held at the funeral home, 11:30 am, Friday, July 19, 2024. Interment with Full Military Honors will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for Visitation on Friday at 10:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
