Surrounded by his loving family, Roberto C. Riojas, age 80, passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013 at his residence. Roberto was born in Campbellton, Texas, December 8, 1932, son of the late Antonio and Jesusita (Nee: Castro) Riojas.

Roberto proudly served in the United States Army. On June 17, 1958 at St. Patrick Catholic Church he was united in marriage to Lorenza Avila. Roberto was employed by J.I. Case Company for thirty years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and the J.I. Case “20 Year Club”. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be deeply missed.

Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-five years, Lorenza; 4 children; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; other relatives and many dear friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, June 19, 2013, 1:00 P.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1533 Erie Street, with Rev. Steve Varghese officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow at West Lawn Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Wednesday at the church from 11:30 A.M. until time of Mass at 1:00 P.M.
