Rochelle Yvonne Streeter Wesley, age 58, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, MS following a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Rochelle and her twin sister Michelle were born in Kenosha, WI, October 20, 1965, daughters of Leonard and Verna Streeter, Sr. Rochelle attended Wm Horlick High School and furthered her education at Gateway Technical College.

She was a passionate CNA who enjoyed caring for others. She enjoyed music, singing and partying. She will be remembered for her big, beautiful smile, her crazy jokes, her sense of humor, and love of family. Above all she treasured time spent with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a devoted mother of seven, a grandmother of 15, and great grandmother of 8 who will be dearly missed.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her mother, Verna Streeter; children Qui-Dreama (Travis) Williams, La-China (Jermaine) Hill, Ebony (DeMarco) Langston, Candice Streeter Lutcher, Charde Streeter (Quaterro) Middlebrooks. Dra-vail Wesley, Malachi Lukancic; grandchildren, Jakiera, Je’Avontae, Je’Addonis, Je’Amonni, Axzavieon, Aailandae, Akrystaire, De’Marquavis, De’Marquashja, De’Marquareus, De’Marqualin, Quaterro, Damon, A’Quyla, Rashaun, Quayshawn, Quinterius; greatgrandchildren, Ja’riyah, Ja’ziah, Jeaddonis Jr., Ja-hari, Ja-vari, Ja-kari, Jour-nee, Jo-siah; mother, Verna Streeter; siblings, Leonard Streeter Jr., twin sister, Michelle Bell, Chaka Davis, Jason Christon; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Streeter Sr.; grandmothers, Lillie Christon and Cornelia R. Streeter; nephew, Ian.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the funeral home, Saturday, January 20, 2024, 1 pm with Rev. Roy Carter officiating. Relatives and friends may meet prior to the service, 12-1 pm.
