Ronald Burton

Ronald Burton, age 66, passed away Friday, May 30, 2025, at his residence.

Ronald Burton was born in Chicago, IL on February 14th 1959 the son of the late Ola Mae Burton and Robert Cook and the 3rd grandchild to the late great Ms. Mary (Mutha) Burton.

Ronald attended Chicago Public Schools, and had been employed at Ridgewood Care Center. Ronald moved to Racine, Wisconsin in 1990 and married his late wife Judy.

Ronald was very family oriented, he enjoyed riding his bike and walks on the lake, his deep passion was his music and his dance moves amongst his favorites were: Michael Jackson, Maze(featuring) his guy Frankie Beverly and James Brown. Ronald had a great sense of humor. Ronald will be forever remembered for his favorite phrases: Baby Boy! or Baby Girl! Let’s not forget the one and only (DaDa n Thang) to know him is only to love him.

Ronald was called home to his final destination on May 30th 2025 at 5:07 am surrounded by whom he deeply love “His Family”.

He leaves to cherish his family: one daughter: Laquisha, one grandson Robert, five great grandkids, one sister Pamela, his nieces and nephews who knew him as: “Uncle Ronald”Pamela Jr, Tamieka, Thomas Jr, Tyreese, Tonyo, Tikkia, Lionel Jr, Lenell Jr, Donell, Ronell, Chiquita, Tywon, Sabrina, Brendella one sister in law Patricia, one brother in law Thomas and a host of great nieces and nephews, family and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Judy Burton (Koker) and two brothers Lionel and Lenell. Special friend in his life Ms. Debbie.

A Homegoing Celebration will be held at the funeral home, Thursday, June 12, 2025, 11 am. Relatives and friends may meet prior to the service 10-11 am.
