Rosa Maria Carreno, age 77, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side. She was born in Celaya, Gto., Mexico, January 2, 1945.
She immigrated to the United States in 1985. On December 28, 1985, she was united in marriage to Ruben Carreno who passed away August 2, 2018. Rosa Maria enjoyed gardening; her exercise ladies’ group and traveling.
She will be remembered for her kind heart. Above all she treasured time spent with her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
Surviving are her children, Oscar Garcia, Lucia (Eric) Lemke; grandchildren, Samantha and Erica Lemke, Stephanie and Ashley Garcia; siblings, Ma Teresa (Augustin) Torres Garcia; Josefina Garcia Fulgencio; Juan Manuel Garcia Fulgencio; Ma Guadalupe (Juan) Magueyal Garcia; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Ma del Carmen Garcia Fulgencio, and Salvador Garcia Fulgencio.
Funeral services will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Town of Dover, Wednesday, August 17, 2022, 9 am. Please meet at the chapel parking lot.
