Rose Marie Tamayo

Rose Marie Tamayo, age 62, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020,at Froedtert South Kenosha. She was born in San Antonio, TX, October 6, 1958, and was raised in Racine, WI.

Rose attended JI Case High School. She enjoyed volunteering for the United Way and visiting church services in the Racine area, but her home church was in Lake City, Florida where she was able to be the last 2 weeks of her life. In her journey of life she lead many souls to Jesus Christ with great happiness. Rose enjoyed praising and singing to God. She treasured the time spent with all her family especially her grandkids. She will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her lifelong companion, Carlos Ruiz; 5 daughters, Noemi Lopez, Magdeline Rodriguez, Lillian Tamayo, Cecilia Flores, Angelica Cardoso; 18 beloved grandchildren, David Lopez, Jesus Lopez, Luis Angel Villafane III, Aliana Rose Villafane, Javier Olguin Jr., Juan Carlos Olguin, Karina M. Olguin, Jazmine Ramirez, Israel Hernandez, Isaac Alamos, Natalia Olguin, Elpidio Ramirez Jr, Damaris Lopez, Marcos Cardoso, Estrella Flores, Mauricio Flores, Enrique Figueredo, Oscar Ortega Jr; great granddaughter, Sophia Lopez; biological mother, Mary Arebalo; sisters, Jeannie Munoz, Esmeralda (Reyes) Santos, Rachel Arebalo; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Petra (Nee: Montoya) Martinez; biological father, Daniel Arebalo; and brother-in-law, Cruz Munoz.

Private services will be held. In lieu of flowers, family have suggested donations.
