Rosemary Catherine Gagliano, age 87, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015 at Wheaton Franciscan – All Saints Medical Center. Rosemary was born in Racine, July 2, 1927, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Nee: Gianforte) Pulice.

Rosemary graduated from St. Catherine’s High School ”Class of 1945”. Prior to her marriage she was employed by Porter’s Furniture and in later years she worked for Carl’s Insurance Agency. On May 1, 1954 she was united in marriage to Pasquale Anthony “Pat” Gagliano who preceded her in death, August 25, 1970. Rosemary was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who will be dearly missed for her kindness, patience, purity, persistence, resilience, guidance, leadership, and nourishment of body, soul, and spirit. Her superior culinary skills will be sadly missed, though attempts at replication will often be made.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Deborah Anne Gagliano, Thomas Joseph (Daun Marie) Gagliano, Robert James Gagliano; grandchildren, Morgan Rose Gagliano-Falcone (John), Anna Elaine Gagliano (fiancé, Matt Ziegler); great grandson, Thomas Joseph Falcone; sister, Mary (Pulice) Denning; brother, Reverend John Joseph Pulice; niece and goddaughter,Jacqueline (Denning) (Jeff) Stern; other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her daughter, Suzanne Marie Gagliano-Antonneau (Thomas), Joseph Pulice (brother), and brother-in-law, Joseph Denning.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be concelebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 2201 Northwestern Avenue, Tuesday, May 12, 2015, 11:00 A.M. with Rev. John Joseph Pulice officiating. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Tuesday at the church 9:30 A.M. until time of the Mass.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the doctors, nurses, staff and ICU staff at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints for their loving and compassionate care.
