Ruperto Soto

Ruperto Soto, age 79, passed away Friday November 26, 2021 at Ascension All Saints Medical Center. Ruperto was born in San Luis Potosi, Mexico on April 12, 1942, son of Pedro and Maria (nee: Hernandez) Soto.

On April 12, 1961, Ruperto was united in marriage to Antonia Frias. They have shared sixty beautiful years together and have been blessed with six children and eleven grandchildren. Through the years, Ruperto was employed with various companies including Congress Linen and Chicago Tribune. In his spare time, he enjoyed Traveling and Spending Time with his grandchildren.

Ruperto will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Antonia; children, Ruperto H. (Guadalupe) Soto, Gerardo (Teresa) Soto, Maria (Miguel Govea) Soto, Pedro (Ruth) Soto, Veronica Soto, Vanessa Soto; grandchildren Victor Soto, Karina Soto, Michael Govea, Angel Govea, Geraldo Soto, Stephanie Arteaga, Saul Soto, Emmanuel Soto, Hugo Soto, Alejandra Reyther, and Tanya Soto; sister, Lourdes (Ricardo Zavala) Soto; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Ruperto was also preceded in death by his siblings, Consuelo and Pedro Soto.
