After a long twelve year wait Ruthie, age 89, is with the love of her life, Bob Coley. They are reunited in a beautiful celebration of commitment and marriage for eternity in heaven. Attending were many of their friends, relatives and their beloved pets. Presiding over the celebration was Jesus and his Father and a thousand singing archangels.

Ruthie was born in Clinton, Iowa on December 19, 1930. She moved to Milwaukee where she married Bob Coley in 1963. They raised five children in Menomonee Falls, WI.

Ruthie and Bob were saved in 1969 and led countless people to the Lord. Ruthie was involved in many social activities close to her heart such as: Wisconsin’s banning of smoking in restaurants and public buildings, and initiated and was physically involved in the building of the first bike path in Menomonee Falls on Pilgrim Road. She was instrumental in trying to keep secular humanism from being taught in the Menomonee Falls High Schools. Ruthie was also involved in prolife rescues of preborn babies, including countless letters to the editor and politicians.

Ruthie, Bob, their daughter Linda and her mother Dee Dee ministered at nursing homes. Bob played the accordion, Ruthie and Linda sang gospel songs and Dee Dee lovingly assisted the residents.

She won awards and trips from wilderness log homes for her creative designs and participation in the actual building of the homes in the Wisconsin Rapids area.

She and Bob moved to Appleton to enjoy their retirement for a number of years. Eventually they moved to Kenosha, closer to family where they built their dream home and lived there until she went home to be with the lord.

Ruthie’s prayer is that all of her children and 52 of her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren will serve the Lord and then someday be reunited with her in heaven.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Rick (Diann) Pinter of Pleasant Prairie, Gary (Beth) Pinter of Sussex, Dennis Pinter of Lannon, Linda (Rod) Feucht of Estero, FL, Bobby (Cindy) Coley of Nekoosa; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grand children, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Coley; her father and mother, Frank and Edith (Nee: Hanson) Ruggles; brothers, Bill (Shirley) Ruggles, Jack (Ruth) Ruggles, Robert (Dorothy) Hanson and their daughter, Patti (Duke) Sharlow; and granddaughters, Jessica Pinter and Julieann Pinter.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2020, 3:00 pm at Journey Church, 10700 75th Street, with Pastor Dan Remus officiating. Private interment will be held at the Southern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Town of Dover. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Wednesday at Journey Church from 1:30 pm until time of service at 3:00 pm.
