Sandra L. Kasper, “Sandy”, age 76, passed away with family by her side Wednesday, November 20, 2024, following a short battle with cancer. She was born in Racine, WI, June 26, 1948, daughter of Eric and Rose (Nee: Vasiloff) Weiss.

Sandy graduated from Wm Horlick High School “Class of “1966”. On June 21, 1969, at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, he was united in marriage to Lee “Skip” Kasper and they were blessed with 2 sons, Lee and Kyle. Skip passed away March 19, 2023.

Sandy was an auxiliary member of the 5th Street Yacht Club. She and Skip enjoyed boating, traveling and trips to the casino. She will be remembered as an avid gardener who also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, walking the dog and daily visits with her mother. Above all, it was time spent with family that she treasured most. Sandy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her sons, Lee (Kathryn) Kasper Jr., Kyle (Rebecca) Kasper; grandchildren, Sam Marquardt, Mia Kasper, and Ben Kasper; mother, Rose Weiss; siblings, Deborah (Bob) Barilla, Eric (Cindy) Weiss, Kurt (Vickie) Weiss; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to Skip, she was preceded in death by her father, Eric Weiss; granddaughter, Anna; in-laws, John and Beulah (nee: Simpson) Kasper; and sister-in-law, Kathleen Harsh.

Friends and relatives may gather at the funeral home to celebrate Sandy’s life Monday, December 2, 2024, 4-6 pm. Memorials to the Wisconsin Humane Society have been suggested.
