Sara J. Ramig, age 61, passed away Saturday evening, January 17, 2015, surrounded by her family and friends. Sara was born in Racine, September 28, 1953 to Alex and Jane (Nee: Sheen) Ramig.
Sara is survived by her mother, Jane; her longtime partner and devoted caregiver, James “Arnold” Martin; her sister, Amanda (Tom) Ward; her nephew, Andrew (Heather) Thurmann; her niece, Emily Thurmann; James son, Dustin (Cristina) Martin and their children, Kiara, Aidan, London, Jameson, and Ares; and her grand nephews and niece, Isaiah, Dylan and Daisy. Sara will be missed by her family and many friends.
A celebration of Sara’s life will be held Friday, January 23, 2015, 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Relatives and friends may meet with the family Friday at the funeral home from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Memorials to the Humane Society or Lincoln Lutheran Harmony Club have been suggested.
