Scott James Troestler, age 47, passed away with his family at his side Friday, August 22, 2025, at Ascension All Saints Medical Center following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Racine, December 16, 1977, the 2nd of 4 children of James and Linda (Nee: Braun) Troestler.

Scott graduated from Washington Park High School “Class of 1996” and had been employed as a delivery truck driver for years. Scott was an avid sports fan especially when it came to the Cubs and Bears. He will be remembered as a unique soul with a silly- goofy sense of humor who brought energy to the room when family and friends gathered. He was very giving and would do anything to help someone in need. Above all he treasured time spent with his family especially his children, Alayna and Bradley. He will be dearly missed.

Surviving are his daughter, Alyana and her mother, Rebecca Sapp; his son, Bradley and his mother and Scott’s significant other, Trina Rachfal; Scott’s mother, Linda Troestler; siblings, Jennifer Colin, Matthew (Nichole) Troestler, Adam (Sarah) Troestler; nieces and nephews, Ariel and Josie Colin; Ava and Addison Troestler; great nephew, Clayton Colin; aunts and uncles, Lawrence Braun, Marilyn Gedemer, Shari Troestler; other relatives and dear friends. Scott was preceded in death by his father James Troestler, grandparents and other relatives.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 3101 Drexel Ave, Friday, August 29, 2025, 2:30 pm with Reverend Craig Richter officiating. Relatives and friends may meet prior to the Mass 1 pm - 2:30 pm. Private interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32.

In lieu of flowers memorials to the family have been suggested.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Mark Choi, NP Michelle Bregenzer and staff Debbie, Pat, and Tanya; Dr. Lewis Rosenberg and the Radiation Team; 2nd floor Ascension Staff with special thanks to Nurse David; and Dr. Douglas Evans-Surgeon at Froedtert for all their loving and compassionate care for Scott and for their support of the family.
