Shawnte Hudson

Shawnte Hudson, lovingly referred to as “20”, passed away on Friday, June 2,2023. He was born in Racine, WI on March 10, 1985, the middle son of James Hudson III and Jeriline Campbell.

He was educated in the Racine Unified School System and worked for several manufacturing companies throughout the state of Wisconsin. His passion was art, cars, writing, producing, rapping , and listening to music. He was a good father that loved his children dearly. He was also very loving, reliable, witty, and funny. He had a profound connection with his brothers that was unbreakable. He will be remembered for always saying yes to his family, for his infectious smile, kind heart and being a momma’s boy. His untimely death has left a tremendous void in this family, and he is truly missed.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother Jeriline Campbell (Courtney Caver) of Madison, WI; his four daughters, Safier Hudson of Lansing, MI; Javeah Hudson of Kenosha, WI; Symone Hudson, Tommia Clinton, his only son, Sincere Hudson and their mother, Destiny Shaw Billups all of Janesville, WI; his eight brothers, Therris Campbell (Symone Kilgore) of Milwaukee, WI; Tyrice Hudson of Racine, WI; Louis Simmons Jr, of Madison, WI; Maurice Campbell (Trina Jander) of Fon du Lac, WI; Lorenzo Campbell (Angel Clark) of Racine, WI; Almonte Hudson (Martineak Donald) of Racine, WI; Vansha (Shauntan)Campbell of Madison, WI; and Courtney Caver Jr of Racine, WI; and his sister, Sabrina Hudson of Racine, WI; his special cousin Timothy Souter; special aunts Bobbie and Williebell Campbell, and many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Shawnte was preceded in death by his father, James Hudson III; his paternal grandparents, Earlene Lambert and James Hudson Jr; his maternal grandparents Hattie and Sylvester Campbell; his sister Crystal Nicole Hudson; aunts Martha Campbell Howard, Maedell White, Marrietta Hudson; his uncles, Jimmy Lee, Ellis Howard, and Reynaldo Hudson; and nephew, Tyree Mitchell.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the funeral home, Friday, June 23, 2023, 11:00 am with Pastor Johnny Ford Sr officiating. Viewing will be from 10:00 am until the time of service. Memorials to the family for his children have been suggested.
