Sophia Simon, age 95, passed away at Froedtert Memorial Hospital Sunday, November 1, 2015. She was born in Wilson, MI, May 3, 1920, daughter of the late John and Rosella (Nee: Zagata) Gurosh.

Sophia was married to Wayne Webber June 30, 1947 for 28 years. On January 12, 1993 she was married to Eugene Simon. Sophia was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, traveling - especially cruising, knitting, but most of all taking care of her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

Surviving are her husband, Eugene; sons, Alfred Webber of Carmel, IN, Alan (Amy) Webber of Hubertus, WI; son in-law, Ronald Reinhardt; stepdaughter, Eva Mae Burdick; grandchildren: Rochelle (Scott) Wojczynski, Brandon (Leslie) Webber, Megan (Scott) Bednar, Kylene Webber, Tracy (Todd) Albers, Cassie (Arthur) Mason; great grandchildren, Alex Webber, Meredith Webber, Elliot Bednar, Max Wojczynski, Brody Juisto, Aurora Mason, Addison Albers, Braylon Albers; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Wayne, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Reinhardt; daughter-in-law, Linda Webber; siblings, Mary (Henry) Talaga, Anna (Adolph) Drodz, Joseph Gurosh, Edward (Blanche) Gurosh, Agnes (Edwin) Viau, and Elmer Gurosh, Dolores (Gordon) Phillips.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, November 10, 2015, 11:00 A.M at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 6400 Spring St. with Reverend Terry Huebner officiating. Relatives and friends may meet Tuesday at the church 9:30 A.M. until time of Mass. Private interment will be held at West Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials to Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin have been suggested.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the SICU staff at Froedtert Memorial Hospital for their loving and compassionate care.
