Susan Lee Smith

Susan Lee Smith, age 77, passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Ascension All Saints Medical Center. She was born in Denton, Texas, October 30, 1945, daughter of the late Thomas Hardy and Gladys Day.

On December 17, 1965 she was united in marriage to Billy W. Smith who preceded her in death, July 22, 2021. An artist who loved painting, Susan also enjoyed crocheting, gardening, and writing children’s books. Above all she treasured time spent with her family.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Timothy (Kyong) Smith, Daniel Smith of TX, Loretta (Paul) Davis of Racine; brothers, Michael Smith of AZ, Donald Hardy of Nevada; sister in law, Linda Haack; grandchildren, Thomas (Ashleigh) Smith, Timothy Smith, Mariska (Jeremy) Waites, Wesley Smith; her significant other, Larry Little, whom she shared eleven special years; other relatives and many dear friends.

As per Susan’s wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later date where we will lift her up in spirit and share fond memories of times past.
