Thomas Alan Christensen Sr., age 62, died July 17, 2024, from complications of early-onset Alzheimer's disease. Tom was born in Racine on Oct. 21, 1961, to David and Nancy (Granger) Christensen and lived there most of his life. He attended Case High School and studied at Gateway Technical College, earning certificates in Industrial Mechanics and Machine Shop. He was also a long-time member of the American Society of Power Engineers.

Tom was a proud father and a skilled tradesman who spent most of his career in building maintenance in Racine and Kenosha. He took great pride in his work, and had a passion for classic cars and motorcycles. Having owned and rebuilt countless vehicles throughout the years, he was especially proud of his 1972 Chevy Nova. Tom enjoyed his time as a member of the Midwest Street Machine Association, and also loved traveling, woodworking, all kinds of music and other creative hobbies.

Most of all, Tom loved his family and friends. He is survived by his children Danielle Dubiak (Mike) of Ocala, Florida; Stacy Hamilton (Jamie) of Weyerhaeuser; Thomas A. Christensen Jr. (Carolyn) and Michael Christensen, both of Racine; his grandchildren Brianna, Allison and Tyler Dubiak; Hunter and Zoe Hamilton; and Kye and Parker Christensen; his brother Joe Carrion (Candi Rodriguez) of Racine; sisters Deanna Stich and Candace Ali, both of Mt. Pleasant; his partner Lee Ann Roberts of Racine; and many other dear family members and friends. Tom was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Steve Christensen; his sister Cheryl Christensen; and his grandson James Christensen.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Thursday, July 25, 2024, 11:30 am. Relatives and friends may meet prior to the service 10 – 11:30 am. Private interment will be held at Graceland Cemetery.
