Thomas J. Lowe age 62, passed away unexpectedly on Monday December 30, 2024. Tom was born in Racine on May 18, 1962, son of the late David and Doris (nee: Verbeten) Lowe.

Tom was a proud graduate of Wm. Horlick High School “Class of 1980”. Through the years he was employed as an auto mechanic, a salesman and HVAC technician. Tom relocated to Arizona in the early 1990’s. He was ungrounded and could make friends anywhere with his humor and lighthearted unbounding inner self. Anchorless he always let the wind guide him; Tom met and fell in love with Andrea Jean Swift within her he found a love and solace that calmed his wandering spirit.

Tom is survived by his children, Ashley (Ben) Dunk, and Christian Matavka; grandchildren, Miles and Lincoln Dunk, Athena, Noah, and Liam Matavka; siblings, David Lowe, James Lowe and Patti Lowe; niece, Abby Lowe; other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Tom was also preceded in death by his grandson, Elwood Lincoln Dunk and his infant brother, James Allen Lowe.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Rita Catholic Church, 4339 Douglas Avenue, on Thursday January 16, 2025, 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Hwy 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Memorials to local food pantries or HALO have been suggested.

“May the wind always be at your back and the sun upon your face and may the wings of destiny carry you aloft to dance with the stars.” -George Jung
