Warren L. Barrows, age 86, passed away Monday, November 26, 2012 at Wheaton-Franciscan All Saints Medical Center. Warren was born in Racine, April 10, 1926, son of the late William and Viola Barrows.

On January 5, 1957, he was united in marriage to Eula C. Miller at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, where he was a longtime member and member of their choir. Warren was employed by Eckmann Press Metal Company for thirty-six years, retiring in 1989. In his younger years he was an excellent softball player. Later in life he enjoyed playing pool, horseshoes and bowling. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be dearly missed.

Survivors include his loving wife of fifty-five years, Eula; his children, Randy (Sonja) Barrows of Cambridge, MN, Scott (Judy) Barrows of Clearwater Beach, FL, Cameron Barrows of Racine; six grandchildren, Jason (Kari) Barrows, Eric (Jenny) Barrows, Jenny (Bill) Barnwell, Nicholas (Megan) Barrows, Brandon (Erin) Barrows, Amber Celeste; his ten great-grandchildren, Makenzie, Allison, Hailey, Cadance, Kayla, Carly, Brett, Bria, Bryce, Juda; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, LeRoy Bower of Sturtevant, Ralph and Delores Miller of Racine; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis (nee: Jensen); his brother, Donald, who was killed in World War II; and by his sister, Arlene Bower.

Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Friday November 30, 2012, 1:30 p.m., with Rev. Jane Fryda officiating. Entombment with Full Military Honors will follow at Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until time of service at 1:30 p.m.
