Willie A. Cobb

Willie A. Cobb, age 79, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Ridgewood Care Center. He was born July 8, 1944, son of the late Willie and Ruddell (Nee: Price) Cobb.

Willie was employed by J. I. Case Company for many years. He was a member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church and most recently Second Missionary Baptist Church. His pastimes included fishing, hunting, and working around his home. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He will be dearly missed by his children, Lonnie Cobb, Timmy Cobb, Hosase Cobb, Nolan Williams; his grandchildren, James (Sarah) Person, Miach’la Hamilton, Carnell Williford Jr., Ashley Williford, Michael Hamilton; siblings, Marilyn Patterson, Theresa Cobb, Billy (Anne) Cobb, Reginald Cobb, Larry Cobb, Denoris Cobb, James Cobb; host of other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Freddy; sisters, Betty Cobb, Linda Snow, Barbara (Michael) Cobb.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 11, 2023 at the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Monday at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Graceland Cemetery.
