Wilma "Billie" Jo Ferrell

Wilma “Billie” Jo Ferrell, age 81, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at the Becker-Shoop Center in Racine, WI. Billie was born in Fairmont, West Virginia, January 15, 1934, daughter of the late Parker and Daisy (Nee: DeVault) Payne.

Billie Jo spent the first 29 years of her life in West Virginia and had very fond memories of her many friends, relatives, pets, and of her beloved home state.

On April 20, 1963 she was united in marriage to Dr. James Morgan Ferrell Sr. Shortly after their marriage the couple moved to Wisconsin where James worked as an Optometrist and Billie worked as an Optician. Billie was funny, outspoken, and enjoyed talking with everyone she met. She adored her family and pets and she will be sincerely missed by all those who loved her.

She is survived by her children, James Morgan (Katherine Bogucki) Ferrell Jr. of Racine; Shari Lynn Ferrell (Christian) Straube of Lake Geneva; her Granddaughter, Hannah Morgan Ferrell Straube; special Niece, Debbie (Bob) Creasman of Longwood, Florida and Nephew Greg (Beverly) Crouser of Lake Mary, Florida as well as several very dear friends.

A particular thank you is given to her Physician, Dr. Joe Mathew for his many years of care, kindness, and friendship to the entire family.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 13, 2015, 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home, with Rev. Don Francis officiating. Visitation will be Monday at the funeral home from 4:30 P.M. until time of service at 6:00 P.M.
